Andreas Bong (KPMG)
Andreas Bong is a partner at KPMG Law and since 2018 part of the firm. He is one of the most renowned experts on legal transformation in the European market. Since 2008 he has been advising legal and IP departments in their (digital) transformation to a faster, more efficient and even more risk-conscious setup. Andreas is a trusted reference for General Counsels on all strategic, organizational and operational challenges and a demanded speaker at numerous international Legal Conferences and Events. Previously, he was managing partner of a consulting firm specialized in legal departments until the acquisition by KPMG Law.
Désirée Maier (Hogan Lovells International LLP)
Désirée Maier focuses on white collar, compliance and internal investigations. She advises national and international clients, in particular from the life sciences industry. One focus of her work lies in the set-up and management of internal investigations. She has particular experience in advising during dawn raids and conducting cross-border investigations of potential breaches of criminal law or compliance regulations. In doing so, she is able to manage the different requirements from local law and U.S. law. She regularly communicates with German, U.S. and other enforcement authorities.
Bibiana Steinhaus-Webb (PGMOL)
Bibiana Steinhaus-Webb was the first female officiating in the Men’s Bundesliga. In 2017 in Berlin, she paved the way for all female officials being seen now in so many different football competitions. She was also involved in plenty of major women tournaments like World Cups and European Championships. She was voted the world’s best female official 4 times as she dealt with high quality football stars and managers on a weekly bases. The management aspect of the job is her driver – dealing with so many different characters on a world stage, observed by plenty of spectators and cameras, taking decisions under a microscope and dealing with instant feedback. Breaking down barriers for herself and other describes her life goal quite well, as she is now in charge of the program for officials in the Women’s Professional Game in the biggest competition worldwide.
Phil Wall
Phil Wall began his working life as a London Policeman, serving as a Tactical Riot Squad Officer. He then moved to the voluntary sector working with young people, training and mentoring emerging leaders all around the world. In the year 2000 he established 2 organisations, the first which he co-founded with his wife is a charity serving vulnerable young people across sub-Saharan Africa to which he gifts a third of his working life as a voluntary fund raiser. The second being his leadership coaching and advisory business through which he earns his living and serves senior leaders around the world across numerous corporate sectors. In 2017 his philanthropic work was recognised by the British Prime Minister, and in 2022 was also honoured by the Queen of England with an MBE for his entrepreneurial business and philanthropic work. He lives in London, has three adult children, and loves curry and golf.
