MANUEL MON
Manuel Mon, Owner and Creative Director of Manuel Mon Estilistas in Oviedo, Spain, is an award winning platform artist. He is also one of the most inspiring avant-garde hairdressers working today.
Born and raised in the southwest of the Principality of Asturias, at the age of 12 Manuel moved with his family to Oviedo – opening a brand new chapter that turned out to be a one of a kind opportunity for a future brilliant career in the world of hairdressing.
Today a Revlon Professional® Brand Ambassador, Manuel Mon is an expert in personal image and hairdressing trends with over 30 years of catwalks, styling, international covers and editorials. He has carried out a multitude of training activities and professional educations. As one of Spanish most sought-out artisans, Mon excels in his work as an image consultant, colorist, creator of cutting-edge styles and hairpieces, as well as in his stylings for bride and ceremony. He holds several major international awards including International Hairdresser of the Year 2023, Figaro Award Vanguard category 2014, Spanish Country Winner Style Master 2012 and Global Winner Style Master 2012. Mon is the only Spanish hairdresser who has six consecutive pre-nominations to Spanish Hairdresser of the Year by Club Fígaro, and was also named Spanish Hairdresser of the Year 2017/18.
Starting from scratch, evolving, trying to distinguish yourself from other professionals and position yourself in the market is what he considers his call and a never-ending challenge.

Born in France to Southern Italian parents, Robert pursued a career in hairdressing once arriving in the UK aged 19, to work at the Winchester salon of the legendary Guy Kremer. He progressed to Artistic Director – a role in which he excelled for the next 11 years. Finally, Robert made his dream a reality when he opened the doors to Metropolis Hairdressing – a chic, boutique-style salon in bustling Kingston-Upon-Thames dubbed ‘the most stylish salon in the area’ by Vogue.
With his trademark style combining intricate cutting skills, jaw-dropping creativity and extravagant finishes, Robert’s unique work brought him global success. He has been featured in most major international magazines including Estetica, Tribute, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Elle and Vogue, and presented his distinctive work on stage at some of the biggest hairdressing shows in the world, including London Fashion Week, L’Oreal shows in Asia, Revlon style masters around the world and the alternative hair show at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall.

IAN HARROLD
Ian served his apprenticeship to become a barber in 1991. In 1996 at the age of 21 he opened his first barber shop called Traditions Barber Shop. In 2004 Ian opened a second brand of barber shop called Attitude Mens Hair. This had a new concept, it was appointment only and offered more services than Traditions Barber Shop. That same year Ian became an Allstar Educator for American Crew.
Now in his 19th year as an Allstar, he has delivered the Menswork education program across the UK and Europe, along with MMG and also in the last 12 months the new ACED 01, 02 and 03 programs. In addition to that Ian has delivered trend education from every collection since 2005 all the way to present day with Ac-iD which is the 2023 collection.
Ian had the privilege to be on the hair team for the Ac-iD Collection photo shoot in December 2022.
As lead educator in the UK, Ian has also been selected to demonstrate at some of the biggest trade shows, working at Salon International in London, Cosmoprof in Moscow and American Hair & Beauty Show in Chicago.
He has also been part of Collection shows in Barcelona and Malta and Hair runway shows including Revlon Style Masters for American Crew in Prague, Amsterdam, Paris and Barcelona.
Ian also worked on the American Crew European 10 Year Anniversary show in Palma, Majorca and more recently the 25 Year Anniversary Show in New York.
He has recently supported the Allstar Challenge Winners on their winners photo shoot with David Raccuglia in London. This shoot has been featured in Modern Barber Magazine in the UK and Barber Evo Magazine in the UK and USA.
In January 2023 Ian also supported delegates on a photo shoot with David Raccuglia to celebrate the launch of the new Revlon Professional / American Crew Academy in Paris.
Ian still cuts hair in Attitude Mens Hair on regular basis and understands both the rewards and challenges of the day to day running of a men’s hair business.
